Tell us about your professional life. What inspired you to focus on
leadership consulting and EOS®?
After years in the trenches as a COO, I realized something critical: most business owners are visionaries with incredible ideas—but no system to bring those ideas to life. Every time I joined a new company, I was building a structure from scratch. That changed the day someone handed me a Vision/Traction Organizer from Traction. It was like lightning struck.
EOS® was the framework I had always needed—but didn’t know existed. Today, I help entrepreneurial leaders implement EOS® so they can stop spinning their wheels, get aligned with their team, and actually build the business they imagined. I’m obsessed with helping leaders get out of survival mode and into strategic traction.
What does your typical day look like?
There’s no such thing as “typical” in my world—but that’s what makes it fun. Half the week, I’m in full-on session mode with entrepreneurial leadership teams—guiding them through the EOS® tools to gain clarity, drive accountability, and create healthy, high-performing cultures.
The other half? I’m connecting with new visionaries who are ready to take their business to the next level—and supporting current clients as they break through bottlenecks. Whether I’m leading a 90-Minute Meeting or celebrating a client win, I’m in the business of turning chaos into clarity.
With over two decades …what current trends excites you the most?
I’m thrilled to see more entrepreneurs waking up to the truth that they don’t have to go it alone. For years, many founders believed they had to carry the entire business on their back. But now? They’re embracing systems like EOS® and realizing that scaling doesn’t have to mean suffering.
There’s a major shift happening—people are craving simplicity, structure, and support. EOS® delivers all three. We’re giving business owners the confidence to lead boldly and the freedom to actually enjoy the ride.
Having grown startups to significant revenues, how have you differentiated yourself in real estate and technology, and what core principles do you attribute to your success?
It always comes back to clarity and alignment. In both industries, I’ve seen teams spinning in circles because no one truly understood who was accountable for what. That’s where the Accountability Chart comes in—it’s more than an org chart; it’s a game-changer for scaling.
But the real edge? I lead with authenticity. I know my lane, I stay in it, and I help others do the same. When every team member is operating from their superpower, the whole company accelerates. That’s the heartbeat of my work.
How did your experience as a business leader share the person you are today?
Leadership has taught me that the best thing I can be is fully, unapologetically me. I don’t try to be all things to all people—I focus on where I shine and bring others alongside me to fill in the
rest.
It has also taught me the value of community. When you surround yourself with the right people—people who challenge you, support you, and celebrate your growth—you become unstoppable. That’s what I bring to every client I serve..
In your coaching practice, what unique value do you offer to your clients that sets you apart from others in the industry?
Simple: I’ve walked the walk. I spent over a decade in the COO seat. I’ve been the integrator. I’ve scaled businesses from inside the fire. So when I show up as an EOS® Implementer, I’m not giving theory—I’m giving proven experience.
My clients get a coach who’s lived their challenges and knows exactly how to lead them out of it—with empathy, with strategy, and with real results.
Looking back, what advice would you give your younger self at the start of your entrepreneurial journey?
Breathe. Trust the process.
You don’t have to have it all figured out on day one. The real growth comes from the hard lessons, the pivots, the stretch moments. And you’ll never get it perfect—that’s not the point. The goal is progress, not perfection.
What is something you are grateful for?
My husband. Hands down. He’s not just my biggest supporter—he’s a grounded, wise leader in his own right. We’ve built a vision together that’s bigger than either of us, and we’re having the time of our lives making it real.
From shared goals to spontaneous laughter, he reminds me that success means nothing if you’re not enjoying the journey with someone you love.
What are your sources of happiness and inspiration?
From my clients. Every time I watch a leadership team break through a barrier they thought was permanent, I’m lit up. That transformation—that moment when they finally feel in control of their business—is what keeps me going.
I also find inspiration in climbing (yes, literal rock climbing!), reading, and surrounding myself with other EOS® Implementers. It’s a community that’s always growing, always pushing.
What are you passionate about?
Rock climbing is my sacred space. It forces presence, precision, and persistence. You can’t fake your way to the top—you’ve got to trust your instincts and your preparation. It’s the perfect metaphor for business: the route is challenging, the path isn’t always obvious, but the view at the top? Worth every effort.
That’s exactly the mindset I bring to my clients—let’s climb together, one solid move at a time.
Please share your favorite quotation.
“What got you here won’t get you there.” – Marshall Goldsmith
This one hits home every time. Scaling requires evolution. Who you were at seven figures won’t be who you need to be at eight and then again at nine. I keep this quote close—for myself, and for every client who’s ready to grow.
What is an achievement in your personal or professional life that you are proud of?
Being named one of the most influential women in the Mecklenburg Times was a huge honor—but what made it powerful wasn’t the title, it was what I got to do with it.
That recognition gave me a platform, and I used it to rally support for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I’ll never forget walking into the event we helped organize, seeing the faces of families who were directly impacted—and hearing that a breakthrough drug had just launched. That moment hit me hard.
It reminded me that leadership is about using your influence to create real impact. And when you align your passion with a purpose bigger than yourself? That’s where the magic happens.
Do you have a personal or professional story that can inspire other people into becoming the best version of themselves?
